Dunlop Fuzz Face Mini FFM1 Silicon Review

Dunlop Fuzz Face Mini FFM1 Silicon Review

Andy from looks over the new Dunlop Silicon Fuzz Face Mini, exporing some of the classic sounds that the Fuzz Face series is renowned for producing. The Fuzz Face itself has hardly changed since its arrival onto guitar pedal boards worldwide in 1966 - though fans will be celebrating that they can actually fit this one onto their board thanks to its smaller size!

Boasting all the modern luxuries of 21st century pedals (we are talking an AC power jack, bright-blue status LED, easy-access battery door and true bypass switching) the Mini delivers rich sounding fuzz, that can be extensively controlled by toggling your volume switch. As Michael Brown of MusicRadar notes "there's a noticeable mid scoop to the tones - it's not ideal for boosting an already overdriven amp, but alone it provides a vintage dirt that goes from a touch of hair to a spitty saturated sustain". Undoubtably a fantastic addition to any guitarist's pedalboard the Fuzz Face Mini more than lives up to its bigger brother and tops it with its connivence and usability.

You can pick up a Dunlop Silicon Fuzz Face Mini FFM1 online from GAK (£99), GuitarGuitar (£99), Andertons (£99)! Let us here at Guitar Lessons London know what you think of the Fuzz Face Mini, good value for money? Cracking sound or a whimpering let down? Get in touch!

Electric & Acoustic Guitar

I cover all styles on both electric and acoustic guitar, enabling my guitar students to learn through the playing the songs that they love. Whether that is rock, pop, jazz, funk, blues, folk or anything in between we can cover it in our lessons. I have taught many beginner students over the years, developing a fantastic course of foundation lessons to enable my students to learn how to play the guitar at a pace that suits them.

For more advanced guitarists I offer lessons to ensure that you reach that next level on guitar, whether that is improving improvistation, nailing solos or gaining a more rounded approach to playing guitar to a professional standard.

Learn To Play Guitar
I was a fairly new guitarist when I went to Hawi. Hawi got me play the music I liked, giving me confidence in my playing, coupled with the fact that you will be learning from one of the premier guitarists in the country. - Dean, Essex
